1. Present number of Kids staying at PKG as of this moment of lockdown and the pandemic situation. There are 35 kids staying at the PKG. And with them more 37 kids are attending our classes (General education and Bible studies). So the total number is 72.
2. Along with normal secular curriculum of our government education system of different levels like elementary, primary, secondary and higher-secondary schooling, we are very pleased to provide our service of biblical studies for different levels. We normally conduct Bible study class three times daily. We have morning devotion, mid-day devotion and evening devotion regularly.
As we mainly work for the indigenous tribal groups such as Santal, Oraon, Chakma, Garo, Paharia, Murong etc. These people are usually lagging behind in all aspects of normal life, it is very peaceful and comforting to work with them. Naturally, these people are very sober, receptive, and peaceful. You yourself have some experiences to mix with them personally I know.
And most of them, say 80% of them are first generation Christians. So we can say the most people are born again Christians. Most of these indigenous people are worshipers of the nature or of their forefathers. Most of them were idolatries
We also support 4 girls for midwifery and nursing training for last 4 years.
During this pandemic situation, though normal schooling is off due to lockdown, we try to keep open our PKG when situation becomes less strict. We also do special classes on their own languages (dialects Santali) on both normal studies and biblical studies.
Biblical teachings:
